Yachtley Crew Returns to CALM for 5th KEEP CALM Jamboree, April 24
Thursday January 15, 2026
The 5th annual KEEP CALM Jamboree — presented by Valley Strong Credit Union — will return to the California Living Museum (CALM Zoo) on Friday, April 24, celebrating a milestone year for one of Kern County’s most anticipated spring events. What began as a creative way to pair live music with community giving has grown into a signature fundraiser benefiting CALM Zoo and Camp KEEP, supporting wildlife education, conservation, and hands-on learning experiences for students.
At the heart of the celebration is the return of Yachtley Crew, the Los Angeles–based band that has become synonymous with the Jamboree’s laid-back, high-energy vibe. Known as the “Titans of Soft Rock,” Yachtley Crew delivers polished, crowd-pleasing performances of classic yacht rock favorites that invite sing-alongs, and an easygoing, feel-good atmosphere.

“Yachtley Crew really sets the tone for the night,” said Rob Meszaros, co-chair of the event’s organizing committee. “Their music instantly brings people together. You look around and see people singing along, laughing, and reconnecting — that’s exactly what we hope for with this event.”
Now in its fifth year, the KEEP CALM Jamboree is known for blending entertainment with impact. Proceeds from the event support CALM Zoo’s animal care and educational programming, while also benefiting Camp KEEP — KCSOS’s outdoor education program that provides students with immersive, nature-based learning experiences. The event has raised more than $300,000 in the past four years.
“When people come for the music, they’re also supporting something much bigger,” Meszaros said. “They’re helping ensure students have opportunities to learn outside the classroom and develop a lasting connection to nature.”
The event has grown into more than a concert — it has become a celebration of community, partnership, and shared commitment to education and conservation in Kern County. Meszaros was quick to note that the event could not be made possible without longtime supporters liked Valley Strong Credit Union, AC Electric, Advance Beverage, Sentinel Peak Resources, Kern Family Health Care, Wonderful Orchards, and many other community partners.
General admission tickets for this 21-and-over event are $115 and are available now at HERE. The ticket price includes a two-hour concert and complimentary beer, wine, bottled water, and coffee. Guests can also purchase dinner and dessert from a variety of food trucks that will be on-site. General admission doors open at 5:30 pm and the show begins at 7:30 pm.
Attendees are encouraged to purchase early, as the event has sold out in previous years.
