EdConnect was established in 2023 by the Kern County Superintendent of Schools office as a venue to share positive news and information related to Kern County’s public education systems.
Kern County is geographically vast, spanning a large swath of the southern San Joaquin Valley and flanked by numerous surrounding mountain, desert, and rural farming communities. In all, Kern County has 46 individual school districts serving more than 200,000 TK-12th grade students.
It is our goal to find and tell the stories that make Kern’s public education system so wonderful.
